Getting through life plain sailing is the dream really isn’t it?
Feeling calm, happy, content, at peace.
So when thing aren’t this way – when life goes wrong in some way – trying to find or get back to a sense of calm and peace can feel really hard.
Indeed, finding our way through these difficult moments or periods of our lives with grace, focus and even some happiness might feel impossible.
Well yes, but how exactly?
To help you move forward with direction and focus, feeling resilient, calm and strong, I provide support in a variety of ways.
+ I help people who are feeling overwhelmed and at the brink of burnout to lead gentle lives
+ I also have a specialty in working with people after cancer and long term conditions to come to terms with their diagnosis and new life
+ And sometimes, these two together.
What inspires me in this work?
My coaching and therapy work is derived from my professional background but, honestly, the real drive came, and continues to come from, my own struggles.
Who would we be without our difficulties, our tests and transformative times? I draw the line at suggesting these are always positive, but they certainly put us through our paces.
For me, the biggest difficulty that drew me further to the process of finding a more gentle way of living and working was my own cancer diagnosis at 30, a time when life felt like it was just beginning to grow.
This was an experience that shook me to the core. It made me question everything and it forced me to be in a state that I hated and couldn’t see a way out of. Emotionally, in particular.
I hated being told I’d eventually feel differently because I couldn’t see it.
I hated how angry I felt and I hated how I was told to accept where I was because I couldn’t, wouldn’t and felt I shouldn’t have to.
But you know what? It changed.
It changed, with learning about myself, how I responded to challenges and how I could regain control. Things I now help others find and develop.
I work with you on your mindset primarily – meaning we get to the root of understanding what’s holding you back, how possible change might be and what your blocks and barriers are. This work is incredibly transformational which you can see from my clients comments.
I work with people who’ve been through difficulties and struggles to enable them to see past their past and move forward into the life they really want to be living.
I also work with entrepreneurs and small business owners, successfully applying the gentle life principles to their businesses so they have greater balance, focus and returns.
