Join us for an evening* of authentic, honest and inspirational talk between brilliant women in business.
Friday 24th April, 5-10pm
The Ministry, SE1
We’re all busy business builders, fuelled by a passion to change something we felt was missing or something we know we can contribute to.
We’re on a literal and figurative mission.
And as much as that mission drives us, it also propels us to work fast, long and sometimes stressful days and months, because we’re SO driven and so keen to create the impact we want.
Surely working differently will mean we don’t have as much impact?
Surely working less will never lead to the success we desire for our mission and, frankly, us.
Surely things like self compassion, acceptance and kindness aren’t THAT important to our business?
I’m inviting you to an evening of inspirational talks to learn exactly why all these things are evidently NOT true.
This is #GentleBusinessLive2020
Friday 24th April, 5-10pm
The Ministry, SE1
Speakers and panellists
Kim Palmer is the Founder and Head Developer of Clementine App.
She’ll share how she founded one of the only female founded apps in the UK, how she aims to support 2 million women’s mental health, and how she both succeeds and fails to run her own gentle business.
Ruthie Hoskins is the world’s first Chemistry Coach.
She’ll share how she manages life after health challenges, supports women to step into their full energy and potential to create amazing businesses, and how she both succeeds and fails to run her own gentle business.
Liana Wilson Fricker is the founder of The Inspiration Space.
She’ll share her learnings of running an off and online community, how she’s adapted her work to think bigger but with more kindness for herself, and how both she succeeds and fails to live and work gently.
As the Founder of the Gentle Life Movement I’ll share with you how I let gut instinct take over major decisions in my life in the last decade and how you can harness this too.
I’ll share with you how I went from cancer survivor to acceptance, self-compassion and mindful living advocate and why route it vital for your sustainability in your work and life.
And, finally, how I absolutely fail and sometimes succeed in running my own gentle business. #fulldisclosure.

The Ministry SE1 is the co-working space linked to the Ministry of Sound (as opposed to the government or religious kind!). The Ministry Theatre Room, where our event takes place, is a luxurious, cosy, space where I’ve attended talks and screenings myself and felt at home. This is why I’ve chosen it for Gentle Business Live.
You’ll arrive at the Ministry and be signed in, then guided to a private space for drinks and meeting your fellow event guests, panellists and speakers.
We’ll then head downstairs to the luxurious cinema room to spend the evening together listening and receiving, and sometimes contributing, to informative, inspirational discussion.
One thing you might like to know about this space is this: it’s an introverts haven. That means you can choose to be up and about beforehand – chatting away meeting and greeting – or you can choose to find your seat, have a rest and prepare to take it all in around you without giving away your precious energy.
Essentially, I’m saying extra, intro and multi – verts are all welcome and catered for.
